The Centre for Polish Studies is a private institution, established by experienced instructors of Polish as a foreign language. We employ qualified teachers who have taught in Gdansk, Sopot and Kraków. Our school is open throughout the year.
Our teaching methods take all facets of language learning into consideration: reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension. The teaching materials that we use include excerpts from the most recent publications as well as our own handouts.
We are certain that you will make great strides in Polish at our school, and we are eager to help you learn to do business in Poland, if so desired. In the past, our clientele has included consultants and advisors of companies and institutions such as: Deutsche Bank, Ericsson, Siemens, The European Parliament, Dr. Oetker, and various foreign embassies.

CRACOW
the royal City of Cracow, the former capital of Poland, is the proudest
and the most beautiful Polish city, an unusual city, the heart of Poland. Cracow is
the cradle of Polish statehood and culture. It is a treasury of national and historical
monuments and objects of art such as: The Market Square - one of the larges
Medieval squares in Europe, Wawel Castle - the residence of Polish kings,
St.Mary's Church - with the grand altar-piece by Wit Stwosz, The Collegium Maius-
the oldest university building of Jagellonian University establised in 1364 and
many others.
Cracow has always been an important centre of culture and science. It has several
universities, theaters, an opera and Philharmonic Society. Many cultural events are held here, museums and galleries invite to their exhibitions.
